Finished Size: 25cm 10in tall / 38cm 15in long Mickey Moose may not be as famous as his rodent namesake but he’s just as cute! It took a while to work out how to design his antlers so they didn’t flop but I am pleased to say Mickey is a fine, upstanding member of the moose community! This pattern is suitable for an intermediate or adventurous beginner sewist.
Finished Size 17in/42cm:
Gertie Gecko HEAT PACK looks so sweet with her googly eyes and curled tail. She's a simple pattern and will be nice and quick to make and a great first project for beginners. Fill your HEAT PACK with wheat, which can be safely heated in the microwave and makes a fun way to make someone you know feel great!
Finished Toy Size: 19in/48cm (standing), 10in/25cm (sitting).
She’s only little so she is still a little bit clumsy as she practices balancing on one leg, but I think she’s starting to get the hang of it! She is a quick and simple pattern to sew and you’ll have fun using up your fabric scraps for her wings. Make her in bright cheerful pinks or experiment with other colors of the rainbow too!
RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Fleur was made of quilting cottons but would be nice in stretch fabrics like fleece, chenille or minky for a snuggly feel!
Finished Size: 36cm (14 inches) long & tall!
I designed this cute patchwork pussy cat because Tula Pink asked me to! It's true! She wanted to make some cats for her booth at Quilt Market. I love cats and Tula Pink's fabrics so I said, 'SURE!' Patch has lots of pieces so this is NOT a good pattern for beginners but she is great for combining and showing off a range of gorgeous fabrics!
Uses Maywood Babe in the Woods Collection.
Finished Size: 16in/40cm
He is a simple pattern and will look great in all sorts of colors. You can use felt for the spots,or you can use up your scraps of light brown fleece! I like to keep things simple so I used squares for the spots, BUT I have also included some templates for giraffe-shaped spots - based on the spots of a REAL giraffe!
Recommened Fabrics:
Can be made from cotton fabrics, homespun/quilting cottons, as well as stretchy/knit fabrics like fleece, velour, and chenille.
Finished Size: 13in/33cm
Ellie looks fantastic in all sorts of bright colors. You can make your elephant in cottons or use fleece for a nice cuddly feel. Add some texture for baby to explore by using some satin or corduroy fabric for the ears!
