This pattern requires beginner quilting knowledge. The pattern assumes quilter has knowledge of basic piecing and can use consistent 1/4" seam allowances.
The pattern requires either Fat Quarters or Half Yards with background yardage as well.
With this ruler cutting hexagons of varying sizes is quick and easy. All the math is done for you. The Fons & Porter Hexagon Ruler is designed to cut finished hexagons from 2in to 6in tall. Simply cut a fabric strip, then cut the hexagons from the strip using the marked lines on the ruler that correspond to your finished size.
