Audrey is a modern, zipper top tote bag. This pattern is fantastic for showing off your favorite prints or quilted fabric. The finished size is 14in wide, 11in high, and 2in deep. This bag features an adjustable cross-body strap, a hidden exterior zipper pocket, an interior slip pocket, zipper closure, and is fully lined. You can choose to add metal purse handles to this bag. Two styles that are currently available are Round Handles and Arch Handles. I recommend to try using our #5 Nylon Coil Zippers by the Yard for this project. All of the hardware required for this pattern is included in the Basic Hardware Set 3/4, or can be purchased individually.
The Augusta Shirt & Dress is a cocoon shaped dress or shirt with an asymmetrical collar and mitered split hem. Choose from a short cuffed sleeve or a long straight sleeve; both are interchangeable with the dress or shirt. | Techniques involved include sewing a straight seam, darts, setting sleeves, sewing an inset placket collar, mitered hem corners, and basic hemming. | Difficulty: Intermediate | Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton, linen, chambray, rayon, etc. Extra fabric may be needed to match plaids, stripes, or one-way print designs. | Sizes: 0-18

Customize the Austin with your choice of a knee length A-line or midi-length gathered skirt and add optional patch pockets to carry snacks for you (and your furry friends!). Topstitched seams and button band closures at the side seams add both function and interest. | Techniques involved include sewing a straight seam, darts, hemming, topstitching, applying bias facings, inserting buttonholes and attaching buttons. | Suggested Fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, chambray, denim, linen, linen blends, rayon, and rayon blends.
