Piecing and Quilting Level 1 | Thursday, June 5th - July 3rd | 5pm - 7:30pm | 5 sessions | $199 | This class is perfect for beginning sewers who want to dip their toes into piecing and quilting, or sewers who want to refresh their piecing skills! A sturdy 6-ply thread, Dazzle™ is comparable in weight to a #8 perle cotton. This is 100% rayon and metallic mix carries a naturally bright lustre with a silky finish, making it an excellent choice for crafts, crochet, knitting, and highlighting the details on dimensional stitches. Because of Dazzle's™ light reflective properties and "pop" of metallic, the detail on wool appliqué and layering can be enhanced with edging stitches for that extra sparkle.
These colours have been selected by quilt designer Kim Rado. Using 3-toned rayon threads twisted together with a strand of metallic, this line of Dazzle™ thread is perfect for adding a few pops of colour similar to a variegated thread.

Tiffany is a chic satchel bag, perfect for everyday style! This pattern has been cleverly designed to avoid using any bias binding. Tiffany is fantastic for showcasing prints and cork fabric or vinyl. The finished size is 10in wide, 9in high, and 5in deep. This bag features an adjustable cross-body strap, handles, an exterior slip pocket, wide opening top with luggage style zipper closure, and is fully lined. You can choose to add metal strap arches to accent the handles on this bag if desired. Purse feet are also optional, but recommended to protect the bottom of your bag from normally wear. I recommend to try using our #5 Nylon Coil Zippers by the Yard for this project. They add extra bling and you can easily make single and double slide zippers. All of the hardware required for this pattern is included in the Basic Hardware Set 3/4in, or can be purchased individually.
Each panel includes: One quilt top or back, two pillow sham fronts, one throw pillow front, and two additional panels, all on soft, silky cotton sateen!
