PATTERN DESCRIPTION
Prudence is a sumptuous dress that will expand your sewing knowledge and wardrobe. With romantic bodice details, such as a mandarin collar, front neckline keyhole, and dolman sleeves, this dress is sure to garner some attention.
This versatile pattern can be sewn up in a silk or rayon challis to create a lavish special event gown, or in a cotton voile, batiste, or shirting for an elegant day to night dress. This pattern offers you the opportunity to create something truly special. Take some time to enjoy learning some new skills, and create a timeless new piece for your wardrobe.
Version 1 features a a full-length, pleated skirt with the option to make one or two side seam slits for a dramatic effect.
Version 2 features a short, gathered skirt for a more playful and casual daytime look.

SIZES AND SUPPLIES
Sizes: 0 - 26
Supplies: All-purpose polyester thread, sewing machine needle, hand-sewing needle, 1/2 yards (0.2 meters) of lightweight fusible interfacing, one 14” (35 cm) invisible zipper, one small shank button or frog closure.
Main Fabric: Lightweight to medium weight woven fabrics, such as silk, rayon challis, and cotton voile.
