The pins are made by hand by an artist in Kyoto who specializes only in making miniature pins. We absolutely love that this is a thing...that someone gets to spend their days not only making miniatures, but only those that are made into sewing pins.
The cypress wood base is adorned with a traditional floral print fabric.

Make way for the Mushroom King!
This quilt pattern contains the instructions to make a 40" x 48" quilt featuring a squirrel sitting atop a mushroom village. The blocks may be used to make the full quilt or other projects using its individual blocks. Instructions are included for making the mushroom blocks as homes or with plain stems.
This quilt is easy to put together and contains minimal point matching. The squirrel block is 10" x 13" and would be adorable even on his own! It's time to go nuts for the Mushroom King!
